Judge: Even God would have to be booked!

Tom DeLay is scheduled to be booked--photographed and fingerprinted--later this week. He'll also have his first day in court on Friday. Tommy D tried to avoid criminal procedure in Texas by avoiding the mug and prints, but Judge Perkins, according to his court court coordinator, would even require God to be booked if he/she were charged with a felony. And being that Tommy D has two felony counts in the first and second degree, to give him the easy way out would be an abomination and an insult to the criminal justice process that has been developed by DeLay's law and order friends!

He does get the one-hour treatment, instead of having to wait hours and hours to be processed. He'll even have a pre-set bond. How fair is that? Some petty offender with a misdemeanor or a state jail drug charge goes through the 24+ hour process--whether they stay or not--even if they are given a personal recognizance bond, and this guy with charges in which he can get LIFE is treated with kid gloves. I think he needs to be picked up at Bergstrom on Friday, cuffed, stuffed into the car, made to wait in the holding tank with 50 or 60 others, then be processed just like his tankmates!

Anyway, I thought I'd start with an anti-Tommy posting after a great weekend. Just needed to rant!
