DCCC: Screwed Up!
Rahm Emanuel and the DCCC spent $50K for a mailout supporting a Republican write-in in CD-22. There are 3 or 4 congressional campaigns in the area that have just as good a chance as Lampson and some say have even been more effective with a fraction of what Lampson raised (and haven't sold out on issues!). Yet, the DCCC seems to be in possession of a whole lotta stupid giving aid to the enemy!
Let's see, what could Gary Binderim have used $50K on?
Hmmm...several mailouts to a total of around 80,000 voters
Hmmm...3 rounds of robo-calling to 333,333 voters in CD-02
Hmmm...a combination of mailings, robo-calling, and maybe 2,000 more signs...maybe a small office for a few months.
And the way I've squeezed every penny of what has been contributed to the Binderim campaign, chances are we could have produced a whole lot more.
I forget. The DCCC is the same entity that cropped out Wes Clark from a photo with Gary and used it on their CD-02 webpage for a months! I mean--confuse him with Gene Green, fine! But Wes Clark?
