The Lib-Media Spin Machine
Did ya read the Chron? We've been warned! Elect a Democratic majority to Congress and Texas will lose!
And republicans have the gall to call them the liberal media? Puh-leeze!
Texas, a powerhouse on Capitol Hill because it has had the largest Republican delegation to the House, will lose influence if Democrats seize the majority in Congress in next week's elections.
First of all, I don't believe it. I think this crop of frosh-class prospective congressionals will fight tooth and nail for Texas and the districts that current republicans have failed to serve. These Texas "powers" have sold out the people of Texas on every issue, yet use their power to ensure support from lobbyists and campaign check-writers. Which brings me to the main reason we need a Dem-majority: How about driving out corruption? That's not a plus?
I strongly believe these prospects aren't about to simply follow the seniors around for a couple of years. And Pelosi is going to have to be responsive to Texas from the get-go; if a new crop of Texas freshman even support her.
But let's get serious now: Before we start talking committee positions and the speaker election, let's get back to work and win in Texas!

Yeah, we have "the gall" to call the Chron libearl media, because they are.
"What is the difference between a Republican senator making a speaking gaffe (Trent Lott at Jesse Helm's birthday party in 2002) and a Democratic senator (John Kerry on the campaign trail yesterday) doing the same? The Republican's gaffe is front-page news in the Houston Chronicle and he apologizes. The Democrat's gaffe is buried on Page 10 in the Houston Chronicle and he blames it on President Bush."
Face the truth.
"libearl"?
Is that Earl, the crazy gas station attendant in Porter, TX who just happens to be a liberal?
Oh yeah...Kerry was just stupid. Lott actually enjoyed Helm's racist thoughts. They're both good ol' southern unhooded Klansmen.
Frankly, I'm glad all of them are gone!
"They're both good ol' southern unhooded Klansmen."
There's alot more unhooded Klansmen "up nawth", pal, like in the Pennsylvania town where they ran out all the illegals.
