Polling Location Violations...
Already, I've received one complaint regarding some comments being made by poll workers at the Kingwood Library Early Voting location.
Apparently, two individuals working as greeters were cracking jokes about a politically-charged topic (the favorite one of the Republicans) while voters were in the polling location.
This type of behavior is electioneering and a clear violation of Texas election law. In fact, because of the topic, one may say it could intimidate voters of color.
If you see any type of behavior that should be questioned, please call:
Harris County Clerk's Office: (713) 755-6965
Secretary of State's Office: 1-800-252-VOTE (8683)

I encourage people to work elections instead of being poll watchers.
You cannot do any electioneering anyway if you are in the voting location so you might as well get paid for it and help people and democracy and be less bored. You can also spot more violations working at opening and closing than as a poll watcher. Some judges may be very strict on poll watchers regarding talking etc. and less so among the clerks.
We also need good poll workers who are not friends and relatives of the many GOP judges in Harris and surrounding counties.
